How It’s Made / How It Works
Vinyl Composition: Typically a white printable surface on one side and a black adhesive backing on the other (No print is done on sticky side).
Hole Ratio: The most common ratios are 50/50 or 70/30 (print area vs. open area). More open area = better visibility, less color saturation.
Printing Technology: Produced using UV, solvent, or eco-solvent inks that are weather- and fade-resistant.
Optional Lamination: A clear overlaminate can extend life and make cleaning easier.
Design and Creative Tips
Use bold colors and high contrast for maximum visibility from a distance.
Avoid small text and intricate details — the perforations can reduce clarity.
Position important content away from window edges and avoid overlapping multiple panes.
In order for the Designers to design and make Mock-ups, they need to have the vehicle present so they can:

Auto Trim DESIGN’s design team likes being able to email customers mock-ups of the designs before they produce the window graphic. This is to make sure their customer likes the design and it is how the customer envisioned the design.
The reason why the design team takes photos of the customers vehicle is so the customer can see the design on their vehicle. Yes, the design team could take a photo off of Google to give the customer a general idea. But it is a different feeling a customer gets seeing the mock-up on their vehicle. Customers get more excited about getting a Graphic added to their vehicle.
Legal and Safety Considerations
Vehicle Use: Check local regulations — some areas restrict full rear-window coverage if it interferes with driver visibility.
DOT Compliance: Rear window perforated vinyl should not obstruct essential safety features like defroster lines or brake lights.
