Updated: Mar 12, 2021

Your vehicle's exterior looked great several thousand miles back. But what can you do now after the roadways’ asphalt, insect residue, and gravel chips have begun to take their toll on your vehicle's paint job?

I’m here with some answers:

As I'm interviewing Mike Thienel of Auto Trim DESIGN®, he's strategically maneuvering about on a mechanic's creeper dolly for this blog post. It's a four-wheeled contraption used by auto service mechanics for rolling around the shop floor while working on a vehicle. I'm observing him; as he works his way around the underside of a collectible 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. He's skillfully prepping an area near the front left wheel well. This initial phase involves applying application fluid, known as; wet installation. It's all part of a process in the auto restyling industry involving paint protection for your vehicle. Following this initial phase, Mike begins applying paint protection film to the prepped areas. This film is an integral part of the InvisiGARD® Paint Protection System and Auto Trim DESIGN®'s 3M Scotchgard™ Certification.

Auto Trim DESIGN® is certified by 3M as a Premier dealer and application facility. This rating exhibits the highest level of expertise in applying 3M Scotchgard™ Pro Series Paint Protection Film products.

These are essential factors every vehicle owner should consider when considering an auto restyling service.
